How to become a registered manure broker

A person or business that moves, arranges, or otherwise acts as an intermediary in the movement of manure from an animal operation to eligible receiving operations must sign a Broker Agreement with the Maryland Department of Agriculture. The agreement process must be completed before applying for manure transport grants.

Please call the Manure Transport Coordinator at 410-841-5864 for more information about the registration process.
