About Service Agency Registration
The Department of Agriculture registers service agencies. This certification program is intended to provide owners of commercially used weighing and measuring devices a list of registered service agencies that can place devices into service.
Types of businesses that may use a service agency to have devices installed, serviced or repaired include:
- Gasoline stations and petroleum distributors
- Grocery stores, meat markets and candy stores
- Package shipping stores
- Quarries
- Hardware stores
- EVSE Charging Equipment
- Fuel Oil Trucks
- Other businesses that use a commercial weighing or measuring device
