2009 updates (supplement 6)

The Maryland Nutrient Management Manual has been updated to reflect changes in best management practices and other recommendations crop production, mineralization rates for manures and composts, ammonium N conservation factors and agricultural waste characteristics. The contents of the Manual are part of the legal record for nutrient management regulations.

It is important that you update the relevant sections in your copy of the Manual right away, to help ensure you are making correct recommendations in the nutrient management plans you prepare for your clients.
