Class rules and additional information

• Lunch will not be provided
• Bring a pencil or pen for notes.
• We will provide all learning materials needed for the class.
• ID cards and certificates will be emailed out upon completion of the class.

If someone is unable to attend this class, the $25.00 class fee will be forfeited. 

NCWM Registered Service Agent (RSA) exams

The Weights and Measures Section of the Maryland Department of Agriculture will be accepting the NCWM Registered Service Agent (RSA) exams starting May 1st, 2024. 

For a fee of $25, the test can be proctored at MDA headquarters. Currently, NCWM is offering Retail Motor Fuel dispensers and is working on adding Bulk Petroleum Meters and Liquified Petroleum Meters in the near future. It is important to note that you still have the option to take the State of Maryland RSA class and test. 

Agencies will still need to register with MDA Weights and Measures, pay the associated fees, provide current certificates for suitable standards, and renew their licensing on a bi-annual basis.

The cost of NCWM exams for members is $50.00 and $100 for non-members. 

You may select the in-person proctor exam (State of Maryland $25) or virtual proctor exam ($20). If you decide to have the exam proctored in-person, please contact the office to schedule a date and time for the exam.

We hope this additional option will assist Registered Service Agencies that prefer an online option that is accepted in multiple participating states.
